Carved Mango Wood Cross Plaque

A wall cross cut from mango wood and relief-carved with an open lattice of leaves and scrolling stems, the grain warm and dark beneath a deep brown finish. The pierced design lets the wall show through, giving it a lightness that belies the solid feel of the wood. Hangs flat against the wall on a fixed metal bracket at the back. A piece that works as well in a hallway as above a desk.
